This Tea Party for Moms/Pops and their Pre-Schoolers will be a celebration of music for little ones, as well as introducing how music plays a cognitive role in the Pre-Shool development years. It is an event not to be missed! We are planning to have our first Tiny Tones Tea Party in March. More information will be available shortly.
+ Adult Piano Beginners’ Workshops held twice this year. If you are an adult beginner then these workshops will be meaningful to you. We will focus on specific techniques on how to enhance your piano techniques, how to eliminate musical/technical challenges and how to keep the joy up while practicing.
+ You decide the song you would like to play, we’ll track down the song and arrange it for you (chord charts are done @ R100.00 each, and notation of new songs @ R200.00 each), and we’ll facilitate your goal within a specific timeframe that suits your schedule. If you are a singer PBMA offers a Piano backing track CD service @ R50.00 per song. So all the songs that you wish to perform and rehearse can now be practiced in the convenience of your own bedroom thanks to having your own accompaniment at your beck and call.
+ Regular blogs on music, music education techniques, practicing music techniques as well as film music reviews and CD releases, and to facilitate informed music based interaction between clients and staff, you can visit and interact on our website (www.pbmusicacademy.co.za), as well as our FACEBOOK page (Phoenix Benedict Music Academy):http://www.facebook.com/pages/Phoenix-Benedict-Music-Academy/237093369677519
+ Tuition on Fridays now as well to include requests for Pre-weekend tuition. Not all tutors are available for Friday tuition, so please check with your tutor beforehand whether they are available for Friday tuition via info@phoenixbenedict.com or 082 346 9776.
+ The Kitchen area will from now on be available to caretakers and parents waiting for their kids during tuition times – parking for caretakers might have to be done in the street unless if there is sufficient space inside the premises on your arrival. You’ll have access to refreshments, coffee and tea as well as seating and magazines.
Street parking is available for those clients who have someone waiting for them, or better yet – if you are waiting for your child or hubby and don’t want to hang around here, why not pop into one of a number of fabulous coffee shops in the area. Just make sure to be back in time to pick up your child or hubby. Parking inside of our premises now are mostly reserved only for clients who actively receive tuition at that time, to avoid congestion and potential accidents.
+ The courtyard outside the Kitchen will be reserved for our smokers who wish to chat and chill with a ciggy.
+ Thrice a year PBMA requests feedback from clients to assess our brand satisfaction to check that we are keeping you happy.
+ At the end of 2012 PBMA will also provide an official report on each candidate to gauge musical, technical and theoretical progress and areas for future development and exploration.
