Ms Michelle Wheeler (BMus-degree Student, 3rd year)
Classical and RockSchool Piano, Theory and Voice Specialist, as well as Pre-School MusicEd Tutor

Michelle Wheeler began Piano at the young age of 3 years old under the direction of her mother, Carol Wheeler. She advanced into it winning many various awards in local eisteddfods. At 13 she won a music scholarship to St Andrews School for Girls, where she gained further success in the Piano and in Theory. Here she also began training Classical Singing (opera).

Michelle studied piano under Ashan Peiris from Grade 10 until her matric year. She achieved many awards in the National Eisteddfod, a distinction in her Grade 8 Piano as well as in her matric final exam in music. She is currently at Wits studying performance under the renowned pianist Marian Friedman, and Michelle aspires to become a conductor and continue performing Piano.
